| OBJECTIVES OF THE WADSIS PROJECT |
- To improve and to extend the availability and accessibility of transnational Wadden Sea data & information.
- To realise a more appropriate co-ordination and tuning of data-requirements, data-formats and data-distribution for the (transnational) public and private data source holders.
- To promote the Information Service and Products to the educational sector and to stimulate the purchase of info and educational products by this market sector, a.o. by making use of established distribution channels of WADSIS partners.
- To take optimum benefit of Internet and multi-media techniques to manage, to market and to provide data & information about the Wadden Sea.
- To determine a further operation and exploitation of the WADSIS service with clear definition of roles of partners, management and exploitation procedures and further marketing strategy, among others by investigating the economic viability of the information service and products.
